The rush fee is "per garment"
The rush fee of $85 applies individually to each garment requiring expedited service. This fee ensures that each specific item receives prioritized attention in the sewing studio, guaranteeing completion within your requested timeframe despite other active projects.
To ensure a smooth and efficient process, we kindly request that all alterations be paid in full at the time of pickup.

Side seam alterations begin at $85, if we don't have to hand sew diamonds, pearls or anything intricate

Waistline Alterations Pricing - why is it so costly?
Waistline adjustments for jeans, skirts, capris, and slacks require more than just resizing the waist. The entire garment must be altered to maintain proper fit, balance, and structure. This includes adjusting seams, darts, and sometimes belt loops or pockets to ensure the garment fits naturally with the new waist size. Because of the detailed craftsmanship involved, pricing is based on the time and complexity of the alterations needed.
Hemming Pants, Slacks, Jeans, Capris
All hems are $30 unless there is two layers inside the pants
Tapering Pants, Skirts, Sleeves etc.
