Waistline Alterations Pricing - why is it so costly?  

Waistline adjustments for jeans, skirts, capris, and slacks require more than just resizing the waist. The entire garment must be altered to maintain proper fit, balance, and structure. This includes adjusting seams, darts, and sometimes belt loops or pockets to ensure the garment fits naturally with the new waist size. Because of the detailed craftsmanship involved, pricing is based on the time and complexity of the alterations needed. 

All hems are $30 unless there is two layers inside the pants

For multi-layered dresses, each layer must be individually adjusted, requiring the careful removal of embellishments prior to altering the seam.  Zipper replacement is $60 per zipper, plus $65 for labor. Pricing includes the cost of the zipper and shipping.
