Yes, absolutely! Lubbock Alteration is open 24/7. The seamstress personally travels to each appointment and spends most the day on the road. While they may not always be able to answer calls immediately, they do their best to respond to missed calls with a text message in between appointments. Your time is important to us, and we appreciate your patience as we work to serve each client with care and attention. Please text if your call isn't answered. If you need a price quote send us a pic of the image you'd like to get alterations for.
We proudly serve all of Lubbock, Texas free of charge. If you live outside of Lubbock or the surrounding areas you will be required to pay a fuel cost fee.
The turnaround time for alterations varies depending on the complexity of the garment and the scope of work required. An estimated completion date will be provided during your appointment. At Lubbock Alterations, we are committed to reliability and will never accept a project unless we are confident it can be completed by your requested deadline.

We come to your home, office, or chosen location with everything we need. We take measurements, pin the garments, and either complete the work on-site or take it to our studio and return it to you—depending on the job.
Please have your garment(s) clean and ready to try on. If it’s a formal outfit (like for prom or a wedding), bring your shoes and undergarments you'll be wearing that day for the most accurate fit.
Yes, we do offer rush and same-day services!
We understand that special events like prom, weddings, or last-minute interviews can come up quickly. To help you look your best in time, we provide expedited services when available.
A rush fee of $125 per garment applies for items requiring immediate attention. Availability is limited and handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

At Lubbock Alterations, we pride ourselves on transparency, professionalism, and timely service. To ensure mutual clarity, all terms of service—including the scope of work, rush fees, and deadlines—are confirmed in writing via text at the time of your scheduled appointment. Once payment is received and work has commenced, all sales are final and non-refundable, including rush fees.

Rush fee: $125

Customer confirms via text on 4/28/25:
“Proceed”
Invoice #1251 paid: $215
Customer follow-up on 5/1/25:
“Hi, can I get a refund on my rush fee? I don’t need my dress back by 5/5/25 anymore. Two weeks is fine.”
Lubbock Alterations Response:
“Hello, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds once an agreement has been confirmed and work has begun. Your garment has been in progress since 4/28/25 and will be completed and returned by the original agreed-upon deadline of 5/5/25 or your new deadline; but no refund will be given.
We appreciate your understanding.
We understand that plans can change. If you decide not to proceed with your alterations after payment and agreement have been made, we are happy to return your garments in their current state of progress.
However, please note that no refunds will be issued.

In many cases, I must also purchase thread, zippers, trims, or other materials specific to your garment in order to complete the alteration properly. Your payment helps cover both the labor and any necessary supplies required for a high-quality finish.
